    Description

    Empty cardboard Christmas box from the Toledo Ohio department store called LaSalle's, this is their 1965 Christmas box. I know it is from 1965 because another ebay seller sold the same box in a larger size and it had a 1965 invoice in it.  The box measures 10" x 7" x 1 1/4".  Very nice colors and design.   My research shows that LaSalle's was started in Toledo, Ohio, had branches in several smaller Ohio cities, was purchased by Macy's in 1923 and closed down in 1981.  Box is in nice condition, with some corner and edge wear and no split corners.  From a pet free and smoke free home-the box has no odor.  Also a virus free home.  Only one like it for sale on ebay and a great size for a collection fighting for space.
