    Description

KATHERIN KATIE GILAUGH was just 17 years of age when she boarded the RMS Titanic, at Queenstown on April 11, 1912.
She was from County Longford, Ireland
    She was in berth 161.
Her ticket to America, cost her L7.
Like all immigrants Katie was required to undergo an immigrant inspection.
This listing is for a nice clean replica copy of Katie's Immigrant Inspection Card.
It is printed on archival 65lb card stock and will look great in your Titanic collection. ( it will not have the White Star Supply Co. watermark)
    Katie survived the sinking.
She was placed into lifeboat # 16
After being denied entry into the boat, and being told that, "this boat is full," Kate told a fib and cried out, "but my sister is in that boat," and that is how she was saved.
Katie Gilnaugh Manning died on March 1, 1971 in Long Island City, New York.
Aged 76, she was buried along side her husband, John, in Woodside Cemetary, Queens, New York.
