Franciscan Apple Wear 7 7/8" salad plate.

Franciscan's popular "Apple" pattern, introduced by Gladding McBean Co. of California in 1940, was de-signed by Mary K. Grant, creator of the company's "Desert Rose" and "Ivy" lines. Decorated with a border of embossed, brightly colored apples and leaves, the dinnerware has remained a classic favorite throughout more than 70 years of company mergers and factory relocations to other countries.
The trademark on the back was used by Gladding McBean from 1940 to 1953.
I am listing several pieces of Franciscan Apple today.
