    Description

    RARE Japan Import Marunao Sanjo Solid Ebony Artisan Handcrafted Chopsticks w Bag. Condition is "New". Shipped with USPS First Class.
    Set of Japanese Chopstick and matching chopstick bag/case for on-to-go carry. Both pieces are made by Marunao which has been handmaking tools and cutlery for 3 generations (since 1939). They have locations in Japan and Paris. It is next to impossible to find their artisanal pieces in America. These were imported directly from Marunao in Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture.
    This model is WPC235P Eight-Sided Chopsticks WPC Purple 235. The chopsticks are cut from solid Ebony wood and the bottom is made from Maple soaked in Purple resin to give a more clean-cut look and smoother hand-feel. Each pair of chopsticks will be sent with a matching grey/blue chopstick bag made from Japanese cotton. The outside is grey and the inside is indigo blue. The design is reminiscent of a Kendo sword bag.
    Brand New. Never used. Made in Japan. 3 sets available. Wood grain pattern and deepness of Ebony wood color will differ slightly between pairs of chopsticks due to the nature of natural wood.
