Meinl Percussion's Headliner Wood Congas are a great choice for anyone getting up and running with their conga playing. At Sweetwater, we love partnering with environmentally conscious companies. We were glad to learn that Meinl uses sustainable rubber wood (harvested after the trees are no longer producing latex) to make their 10" Nino and 11" Quinto shells that resonate musically and project well. These congas feature natural buffalo drumheads, and tuning and servicing them is easy, thanks to their 8mm tuning lugs and included tuning key. They also come with a height-adjustable, double-braced stand! The Headline Series Conga drums are a wonderful way to get into serious conga percussion.
