No marks, no folds, no dog-eared pages, no handwritten notes from previous owners. Cover may show slight wear.
Excellent Minus
May have slightly dog-eared pages, a few handwritten owner's notes, or perhaps the previous owner's name, slightly more pronounced cover wear than Excellent.
Average
May have torn (but complete) pages, significant wear to cover. This is still a very useable.
