This Fransiscan Ware Apple Pattern
Salad Plate is in wonderful condition !
Measures 8 inches across
weighs almost a pound without packaging
Very shiny-with no dulling from use or washing!
has a couple(2) knife marks in the center and one spot of glaze missing on brown rim!
Has 3 trivet marks on the back from firing in the kiln--this is normal and common
!
backstamped " Fransiscan~Made in California-USA~Handf Decorated-Gladding McBean & Co.-Oven Safe"
and in tiny #'s "754" which stands for the
date of manufacturing ...July 1954

This backstamp was used from Feb 1953 to July of 1958
Gladding McBean was in operation between 1875-1984 in Glendale & Los Angeles,California
