Replaces DOT 3, 4 and 5.1 brake fluids.
Description
For all vehicles with conventional hydraulics, Bosch is launching 2 new generations of brake fluid to meet the needs of new braking systems: ENV4 and ENV6. The ABS and EPS systems of today and tomorrow are faster and more precise. One aspect of brake safety is ESP reaction time. These latest ESP brake systems require low viscosity, high boiling point and high lubrication. System lubrication is a new requirement for brake fluids to maximize ESP life. ENV4 meets the following standards: SAE J, ISO 4925, DOT3, DOT4. It is also approved according to AUDI / VW / SEAT / SKODA OEM standards. ENV6 meets and exceeds the standards of all existing DOTs: SAE J, ISO 4925, DOT3, DOT4, DOT 5.1. The shelf life is doubled. The liquid can be kept for up to 60 months instead of 30. The brake fluid maintenance interval is also extended by 50%. It can withstand a purge every 3 years instead of 2 years for conventional DOTs. The ENV6 is therefore able to replace all current DOTs on the market.
- DOT 3: synthetic oil reserved for drum brakes.
- DOT 4: synthetic oil of better quality.
- DOT 5.1: synthetic oil of even higher quality, ideal for sporty driving.
- LHM: mineral brake fluid for vehicles with hydraulic system.
By choosing the ENV6, you are opting for the most efficient and simple solution guaranteeing you great security and peace of mind.
It is suitable for all vehicles except CITROEN with hydraulic suspension (except C5 and C6).
In addition to its high boiling point (265 ° C) and its very low viscosity, this brake fluid provides great lubrication to your braking system, thus increasing the life of the ESP (expensive repair in the event of poor brake fluid maintenance).
ENV6 replaces DOT 3, 4 and 5.1 brake fluids.
BOSCH is the first and only supplier of a universal brake fluid that can replace all current DOT standards with a single product (ENV6) and for this has received the International Grand Prix for Innovation 2017 Equip'Auto.
