Alpinestars Bionic Rib Protector offers the kart driver high performance and ergonomic rib protection. The Rib protector has been designed to provide comfort, support and protection. It's slimline design is lightweight too featuring a multi layer construction which supports against shock, absorbing the impact away from the ribs. This is achieved by use of a soft poly lining, this dual density laminated padded lining incorporates 3mm high density padding in areas which contact the body and provide high levels of comfort. Vibration and also some impact absorption comes from 4mm EVA Foam. A fibreglass core is used to disperse energy away from the impact point and an advanced poly fabric outer protects against abrasion.
